 I ran into Taje of Souls of Mischief the other day and he laced me with so much info which led me to believe that 2000 will be the year of The Hiero. The group has an onslaught of projects which will be dropping in the upcoming weeks. First we have Del's new single entitled 'If You Must'. This is a humorous song about people's 'musky' smells, hygiene and body odor. Dan The Automater has done a one of the featured mixes for that song. Just as people get finishing digesting that track, Del will hit on the head with his fourth album 'Both Sides of The Brain'. This is due to drop on March 21st. Around the same time, Souls of Mischief will be releasing their projects which will include a single called 'Medication' accompanied by a half hour full length video featuring snow boarders. If that's not enough, Hip Hop DJs will be treated to an album of instrumentals of Souls of Mischief's hit songs. Their new album 'Trilogy' will be dropping in June. Somewhere in between Pep Love will be releasing a project called 'Ascension'. Casual who is currently blowing up the spot with his three song ep featuring the smash hit 'I Gotta Get Down', is also due to release some new material. There will also be a Hiero Calender for your viewing pleasure. Now, the project everyone will be looking forward to will be released at the end of Summer 2000. This will be a collaborative effort between Souls of Mischief and The Pharcyde called 'Myghty Pythons' [yes, i spelled it correctly].The group is currently in LA doing some shows. They also have plans to do some speaking out against Cali's infamous Prop 21 anti-gang crime prevention initiative. People will be voting on this on March 7th.
